From guest appearing and featuring his songs twice to over 170 nations on TCT’s No.1 hit show “I’m Just Sayin” and having his videos featured on JCTV’s “Exit 16’; Thomas Rankins Jr (better known to his audiences as musician "Da Answer") has also inspired the film industry; his music is used in the soundtracks for Showtime, BET, and HBO’s short films “Life Poison” and “Speechless.” Da Answer was also a featured guest on TBN’s show “Praise the Lord” and has been in concert with recording artists such as Cross Movement’s “Level 3:16” and “K-Drama.” Da Answer has co-hosted Cleveland’s own “The Prazinest Station in The Nation, Radio 1000” and has been featured on Atlanta’s edifying Gospel broadcast “Crunk 4 Christ,” “Black Squirrel Radio,” “Whoa Radio,” Conversations Live Magazine, and many others. Da Answer was also featured alongside the “King of Comedy” himself, Mr. Steve Harvey, on two episodes of the legendary game show “The Family Feud” and made an additional appearance on "Let's Ask America!"
Thomas is the Co-Founder of the Anti-Bullying and Anti-Violence Campaign “The Make A Difference Movement;” a campaign dedicated to stop bullying and win back the integrity of children, neighborhoods, and communities worldwide and he is the CEO of Truth Music Records/Ministries. Together with his wife, Thomas believes "a person isn't powerful until they empower someone else." It is this kind of character that won him an award for Cleveland's Finest Dad/Leader 2009 in his Ohio hometown.
